Living with a Personal Trainer

This month I want to do something different. I want to show you guys what it is like living with a Personal Trainer. This month's blog post is brought to you by my sweet sweet son, Nino Lopez. Enjoy! ~Morena

Let me start off by saying that having a mom as a personal trainer has its advantages and its “disadvantages”. The disadvantage is really just me being impatient with her. I love to workout in the home gym, but sometimes she catches my form being off or that I’m simply doing a workout wrong and she stops me in my tracks and shows me the right way. Now that part I don’t actually mind, but most of the time immediately following her correction she will continue on about the muscles that I’m working out (in which I don’t know the muscles by their names like she does). In all honesty, it’s not actually a bad thing. It just shows how passionate she is about exercise and also just how knowledgeable she is about the subject.

The advantages of having a mom as a personal trainer is always being able to count on someone to answer my questions and show me how to do things. Then there is the obvious one about having a home gym to workout in for free. I personally think that she could break through to a lot of people who haven’t found the right program for what they are trying to accomplish. My mom seems to always be willing to share any information that she can to anyone who is remotely interested in exercise. I have no doubt that she will meet and surpass your expectations!
